I’ve been wondering when you’d show.
So I produce and mix records for a living. Big whoop.
I’ve been in the industry for a decade now. I learned my craft the old way, in big fancy studios. I brewed coffee by the gallon and cleaned up musicians’ puke at 4 AM.
Before I knew it, I was an assistant.
I recalled hundreds of potentiometers, installed thousands of microphones, patched a million cables. And whilst the engineer napped on the sofa, I recorded dozens of vocals.
I went freelance.
I tracked bands & produced parts. I managed egos & arranged strings. When the phone wasn’t ringing, I wrote my own tunes and leafed through my second-hand Thesaurus.
I mixed songs, I mixed drinks, often in the same 24-hour window.
The whole shebang, you might say. The whole fucking shebang.
These days, artists hire me for my taste and tend to listen to my ideas.
But don’t take their words for granted. This is about your songs, so see for yourself. Let’s make something together. And let’s make it fucking great.
Let’s do it. Now!
